Stone Tumblers and Spares Stone Tumblers are used for tumbling and polishing rough rock, stones and pebbles including those found on the beach and glass. These are all high quality machines to give a professional finish to your samples. The tumblers can be used with a variety of grits, most commonly Silicon Carbide Grit and Cerium Oxide which we also stock.
Metal Barrelling Tumblers
Metal Barrelling Machines are used with variety of different media in the barrel which we also stock in order to achieve the desired finish.Ceramic Shapes: Mixed with water and Cutting powder for deburring, removing sharp edges and surface scratches, produces a Matt finish. Use in conjunction with Barrelbrite to reduce rate of grinding, and to avoid a Matt finish. Steel Media: Mixed with water and Barrelbrite for thorough cleaning and polishing on intricate metal work. Cleans brass fittings, silver and gold. 10 grams of Barrelbrite per 1kg of mixed shot. Contains rust inhibitor.lery ect.
